Monetization · Yield

If you're a publisher — someone who sells ads on your own site or app — these agents help you earn more from your inventory through Google Ad Manager. This is a different job from the advertiser-side optimizers: here the goal is your own ad revenue, not campaign performance.

You create one from a kit: open Kits (opens in a new tab), choose the Monetization tab, pick a kit, and select Use this kit.

Why use it

  • Get more from the inventory you already have. Surface revenue opportunities that are hard to spot by hand.
  • Stay on top of Google Ad Manager. A hands-on assistant for your setup, so changes don't pile up.
  • Always know what changed. Plain-language revenue summaries instead of digging through reports.

The kits

Publisher Yield Optimizer

Finds where your inventory is leaving money on the table. It pulls GAM's delivery, yield-partner, geo, and fill-rate reports and scores each ad unit × demand source on eCPM, fill rate, revenue share, and period-over-period trends — surfacing underperformers and opportunities a person couldn't cross-reference by hand. Where you allow it, it adjusts yield-group priorities and line-item rates and status. Floor prices (Unified Pricing Rules) have no API, so for those it produces a structured recommendation document to apply by hand in GAM.

Set up: connect Google Ad Manager (with your network code) and set your publisher type and approval mode, then configure its inventory scope (all ad units or a selected set — with excludes, an ad-unit view, and auto-include for new units), success criteria (your revenue target), and safety limits (minimum impressions and ad requests before it acts, caps on floor-price changes, and auto-rollback).

Publisher Revenue Digest

A scheduled, read-only report of how your inventory is earning — it never changes anything (that's the Yield Optimizer's job); it only tells you. It pulls GAM revenue data, compares the current period against the prior one across your Ad Server and Ad Exchange channels, and uses AI to flag anomalies and trends, then delivers an executive summary with recommendations — replacing hours of manual report-building.

Set up: connect Google Ad Manager (network code), then choose your publisher type (app, web, or both), report period (daily up to yearly), output format (for example DOCX), anomaly sensitivity (how aggressively it flags unusual changes), and whether to attach the raw CSV data.

GAM Assistant

The "do things in GAM" worker. Ask it to handle setup and trafficking tasks: add demand partners, create yield groups, traffic line items, bulk-create Prebid line items, manage creatives, and update targeting. It validates each request against GAM's constraints, generates the right configuration, and executes it — with approval gates on high-impact changes.

Set up: connect Google Ad Manager (network code), and choose an approval mode (Approve First or Full Auto) and a default prebid granularity.
